Effective from July 1 2023, there will be a price increase for our services in accordance with the new National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) pricing guide.
The price adjustment is in line with the 5.3% funding increase participants received as part of the NDIS Annual Price Review, which came into effect on 1 July 2023. The plans of NDIS participants will be adjusted from July, with funding to be indexed on 10 July to account for these pricing changes.
We would like to take this opportunity to explain the reasoning behind this price adjustment and assure you that it is essential for us to continue providing you with the quality service you expect.
The primary factor for this pricing change is the recent wage increase to the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Award, which our support staff are employed under.
We have recently revised our remuneration to ensure that our dedicated staff members receive fair compensation for their valuable contributions. This wage increase (including the compulsory superannuation increase) not only aligns with legislative requirements but also allows us to continue to attract and retain the best talent, ensuring the highest level of support for our clients.
Furthermore, the new NDIS pricing guide, which was released on 1 July 2023, allows for the adjustments to our pricing structure.
The updated guide considers various factors such as market trends, inflation, and cost of living adjustments to ensure sustainability and the delivery of quality services.
We have closely reviewed the new pricing guide and have adjusted our rates, accordingly, ensuring that our prices cover the costs required to maintain the high standards you expect from us.
